This was one of those moments where your mind is already so directed and has already chosen what you see that you pass it and come back to check what you saw.....but here you just have to look closely and yes....it is and ice cream cone. The ice cream unicorn car lol!
Yesterday we went to Bermondsey street to visit the fashion and textiles museum, weirdly enough, since four years here in London I never thought of going there, it had an awesome exhibition on Sanderson and his wallpaper business. The street is really awesome too, we stopped by this cute old-fashioned cafe with a cinema upstairs! then we made our way to this pet shop that was made for dogs with a chic fashionable mind called Holly & Lil (click on any of the collars to see their website). After we just wandered around the charming street....

No. I suppose I didn't know what a Lady Gaga was. I always knew it was my destiny to be an entertainer, but I was ready to be the new thing. I admired the women I grew up watching, the pop stars - Britney, Christina, Madonna, Blondie and Patti Smith. And Linda Perry, and 4 Non Blondes. I could go on and on. Around when I was 13 I started to listen to older music, like Zepplin, Queen, Pink Floyd. I was much more obsessed with male rock stars - Bowie in particular.

They're all so great! They get all dressed up and sometimes it's so distracting! One of my favourites - which was quite committed - this boy came dressed as Kermit the Frog. I guess he wanted me to think my boyfriend was in the audience, as that's when I was dating Kermit. He was so committed - it was so hot! There have been so many, they're all amazing - I couldn't possibly choose one, they're all so wonderful! But he really suffered for his moment.

My first instinct is to say to go to the past, because I would love to experience and see all that has influenced and shaped my vocabulary. However, I will decline the past, I would say if I had to choose I would go to the future. The reason is quite selfish: because McQueen used to say, you must never look back, you must always be going forwards. I would go to the future - selfishly - to feed my work and make me a better artist, to crate more forward-thinking, innovative, magical and poetic work, like he did.

Yes. Yes I am. I am a feminist. I reject wholeheartedly the way we are taught to perceive women. The beauty of women, how a woman should act or behave. Women are strong and fragile. Women are beautiful and ugly. We are soft spoken and loud, all at once. There is something min-controlling about the way we're taught to view women. My work, both visually and musically, is a rejection of all those things. And most importantly a quest. It's exciting because all of the avant-garde clothing, and musical style and lyrics that at one time was considered shocking or unacceptable are now trendy. Perhaps we can make women's rights trendy. Strength, feminism, security, the wisdom of the woman. Let' make that trendy.

OMG these lil' things are so cute......I remember when I was in Brazil and we holded one.....it wouldn't scratch you if you hugged it.....but as soon as you pulled him away it would fight to get back......Its like the perfect pet.....only eats vegetables, lies around all day and loves a hug.....I WANT ONE!!!

It's annoying since today was the first day hot spring days, It started of well with a nice good-morning from a guy who walks my way, in winter he normally would wear a huge fur cape and a Russian hat....but today to start of the summer he decided to celebrate and start his day dressed all Indiana Jones! But I had to celebrate it in a boiling room whilst in a detention, detention is not that bad, except all I could think about is the nice cold wintery days......so I'm never satisfied with the London weather! At least it's only one week till holidays but I still have to jump one more obstacle.....EXAMS!

Gods and Shoes: Medusa Shoe

In art we were studying Gods and shoes and we were meant to design a shoe based on a God and do it inspired by a shoe designer. Mine was Medusa by one of Vivienne Westwood's, the eye is to represent how every time you look into Medusa's eyes you turn to rock, the color for a snake skin and the thing coming out from the toe is a snake to represent her hair which was her punishment from Athena for violating a rule from her temple.

few days ago i was cleaning up the junk hole....I mean my room and found a canvas drawing that my dad did. One thing I learned from that is to never rub eyes after you touch canvas. Yep I had an itchy eye and only realized it after my mom told me.....ya think i would've taken it of.....nah why not play a little while I can! Then a little bird told me that this was one of their favorites covers for vogue so so I made a drawing.....weird how it all links up!

Steak zombies Workshop at The Book Club

last night we went to Steak zombies workshop at the book club in old street. We were welcomed to play a game where we were in groups of 3 and we folded a sheet in 3 parts and each person had to draw one part of the body, in the end all the drawing were meant to look like unique out-of-this-world um...creatures....yeah lets say that! There was the farting cow, Madeleine Bovine the holy cow who escaped the Butcher
on her flaming fart and is followed by the birth of the
Steak Zombie.Heidi Ho and some other awesome characters. After we drew the final round, we each had to make the part we drew into a 'doll' and put them together to see what IT turned out to be. Here is our um....well....

oh yeah and in the end we lost track of time and ended up leaving at 12pm.....Yay me as I had to wake up early to school today! Still a bit tired, feel like I'm gonna fall asleep in an istant...Zzzzz *snore*

Lean Mean Dreaming Machine

Had this dream last night, it was no ordinary dream I don't think. I can't remember how it started but i know that i was in my bathroom looking at the mirror and it was steamy, so as I was wiping the mirror which had the image of the door opened. I turned around and my door was shut, i kept on wiping it fiercely now and suddenly the image came back to normal with the door shut. But also with a girl behind me. The girl was a cartoon in black and white and was Asian with a rope raped around her head. It was so creepy that I jumped, reached for the door and ran. My mom couldn't see the girl so it was either from my head or had a super power of invisibility (honestly it was too real to be from my head). I went into my room where she was now and found her beside a cat and a fish in a bowl. Suddenly the cat (which looked like an evil genius with a tie and sly eyes and a smile) started to talk: "Hi, we are not here to harm you, but we do need your help to travel in time and space" (OMG A TALKING CAT!). That is when i woke up because i knew the cat was probably just trying to trap me in the past with a T-Rex or something. Then I fell asleep again with a continuous beat in my head that turned out to be foot-steps from a bunch of dwarfs (yes, like the ones in snow white!) dressed in suits and smoking cigars got into our apartment and turned our house into some kind of mafia terminal (maybe they were working for the godfather....) and started placing bets and made my mom cook and my dad be the sales man that always comes up with really bad slogans to advertise them. I woke up again, turned around and the next thing i know we are all running to the music of some Japanese-Naruto style music. We can see a boat filled with vikings (see maybe the cat did trap me in time) and everyone is cheering like we won a battle, then we sail off into the sunset like a cheesy happy ending of a movie where even though we are far far away you can still hear us talking: kid:"where do we go now daddy?" dad: "I don't know kid, I don't know....."

As I was at the salon getting my hair cut, i read an interesting article on the latest fashion: jackets. Jackets have become as fashionable as shoes this season, depending on the type, style and texture people can figure out your mood and your destination.
My preferable type jacket has to be the biker-brown-leather-large-shoulders type, first because leather goes with anything from a day out with stripy top and a red scarf at your neck (french style) to the perfect lbd and some rocking high heels!
Right now spring is coming here in London and hopefully we will be moving on to maybe just a simple cardigan or a waistcoat to go with that. But since its taking a while to get the gray cloud to go away, lets just stick with boleros with the vintage dress or the high pants and leather gloves. The feminine car coat with some ankle-high-boots. The donkey jacket and some black or red stiletto and some other awesome ones.
At least i got these little fellas to keep me warm this hibernation!

after everything was diddy darn good, the crew drove of in their car, with the very loud radio playing:

Once there was a painting. Like all others. Called Buff.
But Buff was a sad painting because she was ordinary, but Buff wanted to be original.
She lived in a place full of statues other drawings and antiquaries...
and a mouse that lived in the signature of Buff's neighbour.
Who was called Bleff, one day Bleff asked Buff why was she so sad?
"Because i'm 2D like all the others'"
So Bleff took some playdoh clay and splashed it all over.
Now Buff was something nowhere to be seen before...she was for the first time an ordinary drawing in an extraordinary way.

so i was talking to Big Me today, about seasons...

and i went to the park and bumped into the sun.
he asked why i wasn't smiling like him and i said that it was because winter is coming and it is such a cold and dark season.
so he told me to wait right there and he would come back in a second...
turns out he didn't come back after all, because he was too buzzy spining the earth faster so it would be summer in winter.
and then he told me that whenever i want, he could get further away from earth so it could be cold and snowy in summer or hot and hot in winter...

what a nice friend...
